Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano proved to be a fantastic time once again for our June 14th gathering. Despite a forecast threatening rain, 13 brave owners drove their Ferraris out to the Noblesville square. While construction had the east side of the square blocked off, we managed to secure half the block for an exclusive, flag-lined Ferrari corral. A few members opted to leave their prized horses dry at home, but still joined the fun in their daily drivers, bringing our total turnout to a fantastic group of over 25 family and friends.
The weather held out beautifully until about 12:30 PM when the skies finally opened up. Fortunately, the downpour only lasted about thirty minutes, giving us the perfect cue to head inside. There, we enjoyed a lively afternoon of fantastic live music and an incredible spread of authentic Italian antipasto, pasta dishes, and desserts.
The drive home offered its own silver linings: I was thrilled to discover my windshield wipers actually work flawlessly, and Jeff Leifel was equally relieved to report that his 355 Spider roof is officially watertight! All in all, it was a wonderful, memorable Sunday afternoon with great cars and even better company.
